DALLAS (KDAF) — 2025 marks Junior Players 70th anniversary providing innovative, free arts education for Dallas Youth through Shakespearean productions and musicals.
“It’s a milestone because, as you said, for seven decades since 1955 we have been empowering young voices to come onto that stage and find the creativity and spark of ingenuity to create,” said Rosaura Cruz, Executive Director.
Junior Players offers high-quality arts education programs in partnership with local recreation and cultural centers, low-income housing developments, schools, and social service agencies.
“It’s unique because all of our programs are completely free to our North Texas community and beyond,” Cruz said. “Our goal is to make sure that historically marginalized communities have access to the arts and deserve an opportunity to find their voice.”
