Frost Your Fanny 5K kicks off holiday season in Lawton
LAWTON, Okla. (KFDX/KJTL) — The holiday season is set to start on a festive and active note as the Frost Your Fanny 5K returns to Elmer Thomas Park on Saturday, November 22.
The annual event invites runners, joggers, and walkers of all ages to lace up and light up the park for a timed 5K run that doubles as the opening act for Lawton’s beloved Holiday in the Park Parade.
Registration begins at 4 p.m. at The Holiday House, located in Elmer Thomas Park at 501 NW Ferris Avenue, with the race starting at 5 p.m. Participants are encouraged to show their holiday spirit with festive attire, lights, or themed costumes.
Following the race, spectators and runners alike can stick around to enjoy the Holiday in the Park Parade, which will illuminate the night with floats, music, and plenty of Christmas cheer.
Whether you’re running for a personal best or just for fun, the Frost Your Fanny 5K offers a spirited way to kick off the season of giving and celebration.
