Happy Thursday,
One of Fort Worth’s neighborhoods is uplifting its residents with the return of a beloved community event.
Phoenix Festival in the Historic Southside returns for its fourth year this Saturday to provide attendees with resources including health care screenings, fitness sessions and complimentary household items.
The festival is organized by Braver Together, a nonprofit working to improve health outcomes in the 76104 ZIP code, where life expectancy is among the lowest in Texas.
The festival is inspired by a community on the rise, not through flames, but “through a collective pursuit of prosperity,” event organizers said.
Immerse in community festival aimed at providing resources
