WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — Meals on Wheels Wichita County is hosting the 9th annual blanket and sock drive throughout November.
The blanket and sock drive aims to provide blankets and socks to homebound seniors to help them stay comfortable and warm during the coldest months of the year. Meals on Wheels Wichita County is aiming to collect 800 blankets and pairs of socks this year.
“Something as simple as a warm blanket or cozy pair of socks can bring both comfort and care; a reminder to our clients that they are not forgotten this season,” said Jeanetter Charos, director of Development and Marketing.
