GARLAND (KDAF) — On Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m., the Garland Symphony Orchestra invites you to A Night in Vienna. At the heart of this performance is a rare treat: Howard Hilliard, GSO’s own Principal Horn, will deliver an interpretation of Mozart’s Concert Rondo in E-flat Major for Horn and Orchestra.
For years, the concerto was incomplete—missing pages left its full brilliance hidden from audiences. It wasn’t until 1988 that those missing sections were discovered. Hearing this completed version live is a unique opportunity.
The program also features Falla’s Suite No. 1 from The Three-Cornered Hat, Kodály’s Dances of Galánta, and Haydn’s Symphony No. 98 in B-flat Major.
Tickets are available online and at the door, Call 972-205-2790 for more information.
