HUNTINGTON, Texas (KETK) – A Huntington Police Department officer was bringing home the bacon on Saturday as he gave chase to a potbelly pig loose on a local highway.
In a video shared by the department, Officer Cody Whitworth can be seen pursuing a potbellied pig down Highway 69 near Huntington.
“Officer Cody Whitworth gave chase to a potbellied pig in the middle of HWY 69 as he attempted to save it from sure disaster,” the Huntington Police Department said. “Music was added to cover his verbal judo he used during the brief and very short distant chase. LET THE PUNS BEGIN.”
In the department’s original video, they added in the theme song to The Benny Hill Show, for comedic effect and to mask the audio from the potbelly pursuit.
