Happy Thursday,
When I moved to Fort Worth three years ago, one of the first events I had the pleasure of experiencing was ArtsGoggle on Magnolia Avenue in the Near Southside.
I was blown away by the hundreds of artists showcasing their works, from paintings to haikus to ceramics. I felt such a deep sense of community that the event quickly became a must every fall.
ArtsGoggle makes its big return this Saturday with more than 1,000 artists across 21 blocks and 50 locally owned and operated food and drink vendors serving up grub.
My biggest word of advice: Make sure to wear walking shoes. I learned the hard way my first time around that Doc Martens were not the smartest choice in footwear.
