New entertainment hot spot now open in downtown Wichita Falls

WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — The Rack House, a new bar in the downtown area, has officially opened its doors after months of preparation.

The bar, which has been in development for about four months, aims to offer a diverse range of entertainment options, including arcade games, a punching bag, pool tables, and cornhole.

“We are standing inside Rack House. This is going to be a new bar for the downtown locations,” said manager Kayleigh Oliver. “It’s been in the works about four months. Dane and Will have been working really hard on this.”

Kayleigh Oliver, who joined the team three weeks ago, mentioned that they have been able to fill the bar and conduct a soft opening.

The Rack House plans to host karaoke nights, live music, and DJs, making it a well-rounded entertainment venue.

Oliver emphasized the bar’s contribution to downtown revitalization, aiming to encourage more people to visit the area.

The grand opening includes a special offer to cover parking fees for patrons who email their parking and Rack House receipts from tonight.

The Rack House is set to bring new life to the downtown area, providing various entertainment options and supporting the local community’s recovery from the pandemic.
