WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — Outlast zombies and party all night in Wichita Falls.
The Running Dead is back for another year, providing entertaining events and spooky Halloween fun in Downtown Wichita Falls, all free.
The event features a zombie-filled course, with undead creatures around every corner looking to get you next. Participants must be agile enough to get past and make it to the finish line. People also have the opportunity to volunteer to become one of the zombies in the run. The starting line for the run is at Stone Oven Pizza.
If running for your life isn’t interesting, there will be a block party in front of Stone Oven Pizza with DJs, live bands, a costume contest and more. Vendors are invited to set up, but must bring a generous supply of candy for trick-or-treaters.
The Running Dead will take place on Friday, October 31. The run will start at 5 p.m. and conclude at 8 p.m., followed by the block party from 5 p.m. until 12 a.m.
