Longview, Whitehouse high schools selected to wear Patrick Mahomes’ Gladiator logo
LONGVIEW, Texas (KETK)– Patrick Mahomes and Adidas announced the “Mahomes 15” on Friday, naming Longview High School and his alma mater, Whitehouse High School, the only East Texas programs chosen to wear the new Gladiator logo.
As part of the announcement, Adidas launched the Longview and Whitehouse Brand Store, which is a full online shop featuring jerseys, hoodies, polos and more. There is also a unique player store where fans can buy merchandise with their favorite Lobos and Wildcats names and numbers.
“We are deeply honored that a premier brand like Adidas, and one of the most successful athletes in Patrick Mahomes, hand-picked our program,” Longview Athletic Director and Head Football Coach John King said. “The best want to work with the best, and this partnership further showcases that Longview Lobo football is respected and recognized as one of the best in the nation.”

“The Mahomes 15 initiative, first revealed earlier this year by Mahomes during his induction into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame, highlights the grassroots programs that shaped his path,” Longview ISD explained.
Adidas and Mahomes said the Gladiator logo represents toughness, pride and the mentality of going “all in” every time teams take the field.
