From go-karts to NASCAR: Connor Zilisch’s high-speed journey
DALLAS, TX (KDAF) – Red Bull is known for high-adrenaline sports and what gets your blood pumping more than racing? Fast & Functional host Brittany Breeding got a chance to speak with Red Bull NASCAR driver Connor Zilisch about his career.
Connor got his start in racing when he was 4 1/2 years old with go-karts. He started traveling across the country to race and things progressed. He’s been in NASCAR for about three years at just 19 years old.
He says there’s a lot of skill and car set up that goes into NASCAR racing that people don’t realize. Connor likes getting to see behind the scenes to see what all goes into getting the car ready.
