East Texas Food Bank presents ‘Hunger Hero Awards’
TYLER, Texas (KETK)– The East Texas Food Bank honored community members with the “Hunger Hero Awards” on Monday, recognizing their contributions during Hunger Action Month.
The ‘Hunger Hero Awards’ celebrate individuals who have made outstanding contributions to combating hunger in East Texas.

Among the honorees was Michael Allagier, who posthumously received the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ for his dedicated service as a volunteer at Saint Vincent de Paul.
The awards highlighted individuals’ ongoing efforts to address food insecurity in the region, with community leaders continuing to honor those who make a difference.
