Wichita Falls agency streamlines benefits for senior citizens
WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — For senior citizens looking to cut through the red tape of benefits, one local agency is your one-stop shop.
Senior Benefits Resource Group can help with paperwork for Medicare and Medicaid, rent and utility assistance, doctor appointments and even legal assistance.
Lonzell Lewis, who works with SBRG, said they act as a communication hub because they have the resources and partnerships with the agencies and can expedite the process.
In addition to the daily assistance they provide, SBRC will also host its 14th Annual Senior Benefits Expo on Tuesday, September 9, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 1526 Weeks Street in Wichita Falls.
The expo will include vendors, a keynote speaker, and a lunch. It will also allow seniors and families to connect and network.
