East Texans release butterflies for missing Tyler man Harley Morris
TYLER, Texas (KETK) – Friends and family members of Harley Morris gathered at the 50 Grande Club in Tyler on Sunday to release butterflies as a promise to keep searching for him.
Harley Warren Morris, 29 of Tyler, was last seen in north Tyler at around 3 a.m. on Jan. 21, 2024 after leaving the 50 Grand Event Center on North Grand Avenue. Concerned East Texans gathered at the club on Sunday to distribute flyers about his disappearance and to help keep up the search for Harley.
“He really loved gardening and butterflies so it’s just a nice symbolism for him and keeping his name alive,” Harley’s mother Wendi Attaway-Morris said on Sunday.
The butterflies for Harley were released at 6 p.m. on Sunday. Anyone with information on Harley’s disappearance is asked to call the Tyler Police Department at 903-531-1000 or Smith County Crimestoppers at 903-597-2833.
