Wichita Falls Area Food Bank to host 2025 Empty Bowls event
WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — An annual event to fight hunger will return to Wichita Falls in October.
The Wichita Falls Area Food Bank will host 2025 Empty Bowls at The Forum, 2120 Speedway Avenue, on Wednesday, October 15.
The doors will be open from 5 to 8 p.m.
The tickets are $50. Tickets can be purchased online or at The Forum, but only a limited number will be sold at the door.
Guests will have a chance to peruse tables of handmade bowls donated by local artists and select their favorite.
Note: Bowls will be brought out throughout the event, so you do not need to be there when the doors open to be guaranteed a great selection.
Guests can visit the silent auction to bid on their favorite specialty bowls. Be sure to bring cash to vote on a favorite soup, to be awarded the People’s Choice Award.
In exchange for their ticket stub, guests may pick out a handcrafted bowl, made by a local artist, as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank, where they will feed members of our community.
Empty Bowls began in Wichita Falls in 2012.
