LONGVIEW, Texas (KETK) – Three Pine Tree ISD students were recognized last week for winning the statewide 2025 Texas School Safety Center Art Contest.

The annual art competition invites Texas high schoolers and middle schoolers to create art about school safety by creatively responding to questions like “What is the biggest problem you and/or your peers experience at school? What does a safe school look like to you? Or, what does your safe place from stress and worries look like?”

Pine Tree ISD High School students Theone Frederick, Eva Vizueth and Jezibella Martindale were each recognized as winners of the contest for their own creative takes on the prompts.
