Marshall ISD mourns death of beloved high schooler after medical emergency
MARSHALL, Texas (KETK)– Marshall ISD is mourning the death of a beloved high schooler who died Tuesday after experiencing a medical emergency.
School officials said they are asking the community to keep Estefani Cabrera’s family in their thoughts and prayers during this unimaginably difficult time.
According to the district, counselors will be available on Thursday at Marshall High School.
“We encourage anyone needing comfort and support to utilize these resources,” the district said. “Above all, please keep the student’s family in your hearts.”
If the community would like to donate for the funeral expenses, they can leave cash or checks at the MISD Administration Building, 1305 E Pinecrest Drive in Marshall. Checks can be made payable to Erika Vargas.
