City View dedicates athletic complex to Coach Heath Aldrich
CITY VIEW (KFDX/KJTL) — The community is invited to a dedication at the City View Football Field/Fieldhouse on Thursday, August 14, at 7:45 p.m.
City View ISD will have a ribbon-cutting to dedicate a new sign naming the athletic complex the City View Heath Aldrich Athletic Complex.

Following the ceremony, there will be the annual Meet the Mustangs event on the Football field, where volleyball, football, cheer, administration, and board members will be introduced to the community.
DJ Maniac McGee will be there live and there will be a fireworks show to finish off the festivities.
Heath Aldrich was a member of the first graduating class of City View High School in 2003. Aldrich was a community member, City View parent, math teacher, and coach. Coach Aldrich was named the City View Athletic Director/Head Football Coach in the Summer of 2023.
After being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, Coach Aldrich continued to coach and make an impact with kids, staff, and the City View community. Coach Aldrich passed away in December of 2024.
