Carthage High School linebacker commits to University of Colorado
CARTHAGE, Texas (KETK)– An East Texas football player announced that he has committed to the University of Colorado to continue his academic and athletic career.
Three-star linebacker Carson Crawford is currently going into his senior season at Carthage High School, and announced on Thursday he will be playing at the University of Colorado following his graduation from Carthage this upcoming May.
During the recruitment process, Crawford received offers from Texas State University, the University of Houston, Arkansas State and University of Nevada, Las Vegas before ultimately deciding to commit to Colorado. Colorado is coming off an impressive 2024 season, where they finished with a 9-3 record in the regular season and were defeated by BYU in the Alamo Bowl.
The Carthage Bulldogs are now preparing to start their 2025 season and will open the season at Kilgore on August 29. The Bulldogs are coming off of a stellar 2024 season where they claimed their tenth title in program history.
