Bowie ISD selects Dr. Donna L. Hale as superintendent finalist
BOWIE (KFDX/KJTL) — The Bowie Independent School District Board of Trustees has announced its finalist for the superintendent position.
Bowie ISD and the community welcome Donna L. Hale, Ed.D., who was voted the lone finalist for superintendent on Wednesday, July 2.
Dr. Hale currently serves as assistant superintendent at Perryton ISD and previously was superintendent at Miami ISD in Texas.
She has more than 27 years of experience in education and has excelled in many roles, including teaching, principal, assistant superintendent and superintendent.
Per Texas regulation, when the school board selects a finalist for a position, there is a 21-day mandatory waiting period before the board officially hires the individual.
