ZZ Top set to electrify Wichita Falls with Elevation tour
WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — A group known for their iconic sound, beards, and spinning guitars added a stop in Wichita Falls on their latest tour.
ZZ Top will hit Kay Yeager Coliseum on November 18 during their Elevation Tour.
Presale tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, June 25, at 10 a.m., and general ticket sales will begin on Friday, June 27, at 10 a.m.
Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster or in person at the MPEC Box Office Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
ZZ Top has toured extensively over the past five decades, on four continents, in front of millions of fans and has sold millions of records. There is also a Grammy-nominated documentary about the band, which has officially been designated as Heroes of the State of Texas, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and been referenced in many cartoons and sitcoms, but don’t plan on calling it quits yet.
The band’s Billy F. Gibbons commented, “We love getting out there and turning it up, so we’re excited about these new dates because this tour’s been a great ride so far and we don’t want it to end anytime soon.”
