SAN AUGUSTINE, Texas (KETK) — A boil water notice has been issued for all customers of Denning Rural Water System in San Augustine County Thursday afternoon because of electrical issues at the plant.
People are asked to boil their water prior to consumption including washing hands or face, brushing teeth and drinking. Children, seniors and those with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria and are asked to follow these directions:
Customers are asked to bring boiled water to a vigorous rolling boil and boil for two minutes. Bottled water or water from a suitable source is recommended for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
