
DSO announces Pride Night

The Dallas Symphony Orchestra announced Pride Night With the DSO will be on Friday, June 20 at 8 p.m. That coincides with Pride Night in the Arts District.
Described as “an uplifting evening celebrating love, identity and community at Pride Night with the DSO,” conducted by Enrico Lopez-Yanez, principal conductor Dallas Symphony Presents. Vocalists include Christian Dante White, Maiya Sykes and the Turtle Creek Chorale. The program features Broadway hits, movie classics and disco favorites.
Sykes has provided back-up vocals for for The Black Eyed Peas, Macy Gray, Fantasia, Joss Stone, Michael Buble, Leona Lewis, and Rita Ora. She was a featured backup singer for Macy Gray in her live show for more than five years. She recently provided backgrounds and was featured in the Oscar award winning film La La Land.
Tickets start at $10 and can be purchased online.
