PGA Tour players share shout-out to Moms at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson
MCKINNEY (KDAF) — Just in time for Mother’s Day, The CJ CUP Byron Nelson Golf Tournament, the PGA tour stop in McKinney put a heartfelt twist on the classic Caddie bibs.
This past weekend, caddies wore custom bibs selected by the players to highlight how they prioritize mental health – with several players giving a sweet nod to their moms with bibs reading “CALL MOM.”
Players who opted for this sweet message included Frankie Capan III, Nick Hardy, Jake Knapp, Taylor Moore, Greyson Sigg, Jhonattan Vegas, and Danny Walker.
Tournament champion Scottie Scheffler – a proud new dad with a soon-to-be one-year-old – also highlighted the importance of prioritizing family time when it comes to mental health, with the word “FAMILY” displayed on his caddie bib.
