Iowa Park completes $157K upgrade at Murphee Park
WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — Kids in Iowa Park now have a better park after years of improvements have finally been completed.
Tuesday, April 22, Iowa Park City Councilors held a ribbon cutting at Murphee Park, on North Bond Street.
Between 2021 and 2024, the Iowa Park Community Development Corporation allocated more than $157,000 for the improvements.
The improvements included different playground equipment and a practice field for baseball or softball
