HUNTINGTON, Texas (KETK) — A man was arrested on Wednesday for stealing copper from a business, the Huntington Police Department said.
Creed Douglas Powell and other suspects allegedly targeted copper cable owned by Windstream Communications and climbed a telephone pole to cut out the cable on Feb. 4.
“Upon receiving a report of a suspicious person leaving the back of the old Brookshire Brothers building and the cooperation of a local recycling company, facts can be proven that Creed Douglas Powell committed this offense,” Huntington PD said.
