Teenager dies after ATV crash in Wichita County
WICHITA COUNTY (KFDX/KJTL) — A teenager has died from injuries suffered in an ATV crash in Wichita County on Friday afternoon.
Just before 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 18, 2025, authorities responded to a call regarding an ATV crash involving a juvenile on private property off of Hammon Road, about a quarter of a mile south of Quincy Road.
According to Wichita County Sheriff David Duke, a 14-year-old was transported from the scene in critical condition following the crash.
Sheriff Duke confirmed the teenager died from their injuries on Friday night.
As of the publication of this story, the teenager’s identity has not been made public. No further details regarding the fatal crash have been released at this time.
