Dallas ranks top 10 for best poker face in America, study reveals
DALLAS (KDAF) — Ahead of National Poker Day on April 19, a new study has determined which cities have the best poker face, by analyzing how good people are at bluffing in everyday situations.
The study included situations like during dates, work events, and social settings, and used a national survey and a weighted index.
Dallas ranks 10th nationwide for the best ‘poker face’ in America, while Fort Worth ranked last.
Specifically, Dallas ranked 9th for maintaining a straight face, 10th for ability to successfully lie, and 11th best poker face when playing card games.
In dating, Dallas is among the most emotionally honest cities, ranking 4th for being less likely to tell a white lie or cheat
And at work, locals continue to keep it honest, ranking 6th for being transparent during interviews and negotiations
San Antonio took the top spot for the best overall poker face, followed by New York City and Oklahoma City in second and third place, respectively.
