Star Fest returning to Lone Star this weekend

LONE STAR, Texas (KETK) – A celebration is being held in Lone Star this weekend in honor of the city’s 75 year anniversary.

To mark the celebration, Star Fest will be returning this weekend starting at 10 a.m. at Lone Star City Park.

During the festival there will be an obstacle course available for all ages, face painting booth, bounce house and a cornhole tournament starting at noon.

Additionally, there will be several different performances throughout the day from multiple bands like Mark Owens and the Del Rio Band.

Times for each performance:

  • Pepper Holt: 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
  • The Unwanted: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Mark Owens and the Del Rio Band: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
