
LIST: Where to see flowers this Spring in East Texas
TYLER, Texas (KETK) – Spring has sprung and East Texas currently has several areas where locals can find fresh flowers.
From azaleas to tulips, there’s a wide variety of flowers and gardens in East Texas:
Longview
- Longview Abortorium and Nature Center: This is a privately managed arboretum garden located in the heart of Longview.
- The Home and Garden Center: The center is one of East Texas’s largest nurseries.

- Azalea & Spring Flower Trail: Tyler’s Azalea district is an annual spring must-see event. The historic district will have more than ten miles of azaleas, tulips, wisteria, dogwood and more.
- Tyler Rose Garden: This world-famous garden features over 300 varieties of roses and 600 rose beds.
- Tyler Botanical Garden: Several gardens are featured in the Tyler Botanical Gardens, including The Shade Garden, the IDEA Garden and the Heritage Garden.
- Plantation Pine’s: Want to see tulips? Plantation Pine’s has got you covered! But hurry! They are only in bloom for another week or so.
- Dory’s Garden and Boutique: This garden and boutique is a local park style garden located on 600 W. Rusk Street in Tyler. It’s full of unique art, plants and activities.
Chandler
- Blue Moon Gardens: This Chandler garden center is also a gift shop and an art studio all rolled into one.
Flint
- Dream of Green Garden Center: The Dream of Green Garden in Flint features locally grown perennials and more.
