Texas Rangers among MLB’s worst travel schedules in 2025

DALLAS (KDAF) — With 162 games on the schedule, the MLB season will be a grind — but for the Texas Rangers, it’s downright brutal.

According to a new study by sportsbook resource NJ.bet, the Rangers will log 37,281 miles in 2025, ranking 10th-worst in the league for total travel.

The Rangers will travel 1,207 more miles than last season, for a total of 37,281 miles, with an average of 2,947 miles per trip, ranking 9th in the league for longest road trips. While away games and long travel days can definitely take a toll on a team, it might not be too much of a problem for the Rangers — who notably won every single road game during the 2023 postseason, going 11–0 on the road, with the most road wins in a postseason in MLB history.

However, the LA Dodgers have a worse road schedule, with a total of 55,893 miles on the road this season, including the Tokyo series.
