Here’s where you can hear from Fort Worth City Council candidates before May 3 election

The weather is heating up and so are City Council elections.All 11 Fort Worth City Council seats, including the mayor’s, are up for grabs on the May 3 ballot. Two council members, in Districts 7 and 10, are running unopposed, while all other races are contested. In Districts 5 and 6, the incumbents are not seeking re-election, leaving the seats wide open.Voters will have the chance to get to know the 35 candidates who have filed to fill the seats at candidate forums throughout the spring. Members serve two-year terms.Here are some upcoming candidate forums, who is hosting them and which candidates could be in attendance. Are we missing one in your neck of the woods?
