Email us the details, and we’ll add it to our upcoming list.Arlington Parks & Recreation offers spring break camps for children ages 5-13 at five recreation centers across the city. Children can enjoy a variety of games, activities and an afternoon snack. Participating locations include Beacon Recreation Center, Dottie Lynn Recreation Center, Cliff Nelson Recreation Center, East Library & Recreation Center and Elzie Odom Athletic Center. Enrollment fees are $140 per child per week. The department does offer discounts for enrolling multiple children in a camp as well as reduced rates for residents who qualify for financial assistance. Click here to see if you qualify for assistance. Arlington Public LibraryArlington Public Library is hosting free spring break art activities throughout the city from March 10-17. Spring Family Carnival at Southeast Branch Library – 5:30-7 p.m. March 17 Artes Academy at Artes de La RosaArtes de La Rosa Cultural Center for the Arts in Fort Worth’s Northside is hosting its Artes Academy Spring Break Workshops for third-12th grade students. Classes range from embroidery to sketching to theater. The events run in two sessions: 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 1-3:30 p.m. March 17-21. The academy is $97.50 per student for a half day or $195 for a full day. Scholarships are available. Fort Worth Museum of Science and History Unleash your curiosity with extended hours during spring break at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. Families can dive into a world of interactive exhibits and immerse themselves in planetarium shows. The museum will open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. March 17-21. Free for children under 2; $12 for children ages 3-11; $16 for adults ages 12-64; $14 for people 65 and older; free for museum members. Kids who participate will unwind, create art and explore the museum.The activity is free, and no reservations are necessary.The event runs from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. March 18-20 and from noon-4 p.m. March 21.The ModernThe Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth’s Art Break will feature family programming during spring break March 17-21.Throughout the week, the museum will have stations where children and families can talk to an artist and even create their own masterpieces. Museum admission is free during spring break.Sid Richardson Museum The Sid Richardson Museum will have its studio classroom open so kids can unleash their creativity. The classroom is scheduled to be open 1-4 p.m. March 17-21 at 309 Main St. No registration is required and it is free to visit.Spring Break at the CarterTake the kids to the Amon Carter Museum of American Art for free, art-focused events during spring break.The events are 1-4 p.m. March 18-21. All ages are welcome.Spring Break Poolooza Take a dip at Arlington’s East Library & Recreation Center Pool for an evening of spring break fun 6-8 p.m. March 14. Bring your family and friends for yard games and open swim.Admissions is $8 per person; free for children 2 and under. YMCA campsThe YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth is hosting spring break camps throughout the city. The camps feature outdoor activities, STEM experiments, games and holiday crafts.Camps in Fort Worth begin March 17 and run through March 21. Costs vary by camp, but range from $80 up to $175. The YMCA offers a discounted rate for members.Zoo CampIs your child an animal lover? Consider signing up for the Fort Worth Zoo’s spring break camp. Zoo Camp is 9 a.m.-3 p.m. March 17-21.
