(The HUB) – Dallas ISD opened the doors of three new state-of-the-art facilities – Albert C. Black, Jr. STEAM Academy, Marcus Leadership Academy, and Martha Turner Reilly Elementary School – on Jan. 7 ushering in a new era of learning and innovation for students across the district. These new schools represent the district’s commitment to academic excellence, equity and preparing students for the future.

Black Jr. STEAM Academy, named in honor of a distinguished Dallas leader and businessman, is dedicated to fostering curiosity and innovation through its focus on science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. The school, located at 4200 Bonnie View Road, features cutting-edge laboratories, collaborative maker spaces, and dynamic arts facilities designed to inspire creativity and critical thinking. The newly constructed Martha Turner Reilly Elementary School offers an inclusive environment designed with input from the community, the school reflects a vision of collaboration and excellence. Bright, flexible learning spaces, outdoor classrooms and advanced technology create an engaging environment that supports diverse learning styles for Pre-K2 through fifth. The elementary, located at 11230 Lippitt Ave., is committed to nurturing the whole child, with programs that emphasize social-emotional learning, family involvement and academic achievement.
