For Dr. Juan Carlos Bernini, medical director of the Vannie E. Cook Clinic, the 15th anniversary of the radiothon is more than just a milestone but also an opportunity to raise awareness on the pediatric needs in the region.

“Although survival rates have improved nationwide, the rate of childhood cancer diagnoses in our community remains concerning,” Bernini said in a news release. “With the community’s support, we aim to raise awareness and critical funding to ensure every child receives the care they need for a healthy future.”
