Student career readiness jumped in Fort Worth school districts. Here’s how

Several districts across Fort Worth recently celebrated growth in the number of students who are considered career-ready by state criteria.Fort Worth ISD, Everman ISD and Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD self-reported jumps of at least 10 percentage points more college-, career- and military-ready students than the previous year, highlighting the numbers as evidence of achievements in preparing students for a successful future. Educators often refer to this career-readiness metric as CCMR. School board members across Fort Worth, while celebratory, were also curious as to how their districts got there.
