The specialties included cancer, cardiology surgery, diabetes, geriatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, neurosurgery, orthopedics and urology.U.S. News collected data from 584 hospitals in the Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, McAllen and San Antonio metropolitan areas. The regional hospital rankings help patients find the top-rated hospitals in specialties, common procedures and conditions for the care they need, according to the publication. Thirty of the facilities met high U.S. News standards. In the publication’s 2023 rankings, four Fort Worth hospitals were included among the best in the state: Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center, Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest and JPS Health Network. JPS, which serves as Tarrant County’s taxpayer-supported hospital district, was not featured in this year’s list. Here is how the Fort Worth hospitals ranked:Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical CenterBaylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth ranked 11th overall in Texas and received high-performing recognition for seven of its adult procedures and conditions: Leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma
