(The Dallas Examiner) – Andretti Indoor Karting and Games has brought its fifth location to the state of Texas. Last month, Andretti hosted a grand opening for the 100,000 square foot entertainment center, welcoming the community to their newest adventure. It opened July 10 at 3750 State Highway 161 in Grand Prairie.

Date nights, birthday parties, corporate events or simply gatherings with friends and family can be held at the indoor entertainment and event center. It is open 10 a.m. to midnight, Sunday through Thursday and as late as 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

The entertainment center offers a variety of options for the whole family. While movies may offer a 3D experience, buckle up because Andretti has leveled up to provide a 7D experience to feel, hear and even smell the stories of an alternate reality.

Spark bowling is new with a cinematic bowling experience. Other offers also include, but are not limited to, virtual reality experiences such as Hologate VR, Hyperdeck VR, Limitless VR, a trailblazing arcade and a two-story laser tag arena.

The full-service bar and restaurant make Andretti a one-stop shop. Attendees may find themselves charging up with the diverse food options from award winning chefs or unwinding from the day’s action-packed activities with a refreshing drink or sweet cocktail.

Drivers can live out their speed racer dreams with the main attraction at the event center. Whether it’s a spontaneous date night or an outing with the family, Andretti’s Go Kart racing is fun for all ages. The karts are ergonomic, safe and environmentally friendly. Go-kart racers are able to tap into their inner Andretti – a family widely known for their accomplishments in Formula One, IndyCar, the World Sportscar Championships, NASCAR and more. There are two three-story tracks for both intermediate and advanced drifting drivers. The high-speed electric super karts go up to 35 mph.

In addition, the little ones can even start their own NASCAR journey. This location also features Mini Mario Karts for young drivers 4-7 years old. Junior races go up to 15 mph and intermediate races go up to 25 mph.

With a goal to “put family and corporate entertainment on a whole new track,” Andretti has been doing just that since their first opening of Andretti Indoor Karting and Games in 2001. The idea was led by Mario Andretti, one of the most successful drivers in the history of motorsports with titles in Formula One, IndyCar, the World Sportscar Championship and NASCAR races. The Andrettis became the first family to have five members – Michael, Mario, Marco, Jeff and John – who have all contributed to the family-owned franchise.

Various locations of the entertainment and event center, including five in Texas, have earned them the titles of “Best Kids Fun Place” and “Best Entertainment and Large Business.”
