Attendees had many margaritas to try. A punch card allowed them to sample each of the 10 margaritas once. They made their way around multiple booths sipping samples of margaritas in shot-sized cups.

After trying various margaritas, attendees were able to purchase a full serving of their favorite.

Vendors aimed to be named “Best Margarita” and win a $1,000 prize. Attendees who bought a sampling admission ticket were given a singular voting chip which they were to leave at their favorite booth after sampling all 10 margaritas.

This year’s winner was Kung Fu Saloon, a Texas-based bar chain with a Fort Worth location at 2818 Morton St. The bar offers vintage arcade games and a pub-style menu along with a full bar.
