500X Gallery calls for entries for LGBTQIA exhibit 2

The 500X Gallery, 516 Fabrication St. in Dallas, has issued a call for entries for its biannual 500X LGBTQIA+ Juried Exhibition for the 2022-23 season. All artists in the LGBTQIA+ community ages 18 and over are eligible to apply.

This year’s juror is artist and curator Angel Faz.

Submission deadline is midnight on Oct. 19. Notification of the juror’s choice will happen by Oct. 24, and artwork drop-off is Oct. 30, noon-t p.m. The exhibit runs Nov. 4-Nov. 19, with an opening night reception from 7-10 p.m.

Entry fee is $30 for five artwork submissions. The juror’s choice artist will receive a $150 honorarium and a project space solo show in the 500X Gallery project space.
