Foodtech startup Simple Food is working to make personalized and nutritious meal prep more accessible with its AI-powered mobile application. The AI nutritionist feature eliminates the overwhelm of meal planning and grocery shopping, allowing for a curated menu that accommodates each user’s special dietary needs.
Simple Food has partnered with several top chefs from Austin, Houston, and San Antonio, who will prepare the meals fresh every Sunday and have them delivered straight to homes. Everything from meal planning to grocery shopping, delivery, and menu improvement is seamlessly managed through the app for user convenience. The company aims to expand its reach across the US’s most populated cities by 2023.
“Our mission is to deliver the sustainable nutrition you love and meet your health needs with transparency,” says the team behind Simple Food.
With three of Texas’s biggest cities already in the lineup, Simple Food has also begun its expansion in Dallas – one of the largest metropolitan areas in the country. Dallasites can look forward to having chef-inspired meals made from fresh local ingredients every week.
Weekly menus are regularly changed, and ingredients are fully customizable to meet different lifestyle needs. Meals are nutritionally-balanced and portion-controlled to help clients stay on top of their health without overeating. Nutrition facts are also included for client peace of mind.
All meals are delivered in washable and reusable containers, minimizing plastic waste and keeping the environment healthy.
