OTT Platforms have been growing by leaps and bounds. Even though they look simple to users, there is a lot of technical wizardry that goes under the hood. Catering to the audience needs like Live streaming, video on demand, and catch-up content needs a rock solid architecture. The revamped OTT platform was launched by the mid of 2017. Key advantages include:
- Access to Live content, VOD and Catch-up content was an added value to existing DTH users and hence enhanced the client’s customer acquisition & retention.
- Rented Premium Movies were synced as showcase content on DTH and emerged as a new revenue stream Traffic through mobile devices was better engaged that enabled increase in recharges and upsell.
