October 14, 2021 – Leading Austin commercial real estate company PlaceMKR is pleased to announce the recent appointment of banking analyst Ignacio de la Morena in the designation of Investment Analyst. Mr. de la Morena previously served in the position of Real Estate Banking Analyst for U.S. Bank and has relocated from Dallas to Austin to join the PlaceMKR team.
At PlaceMKR, Ignacio will support the investment committee with acquisition due diligence, financial underwriting, development feasibility, and capital markets expertise.
An alumnus of McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, Ignacio comes with experience in commercial real estate lending as well as investments and legal. He started his career as a Legal Assistant with The Sutton Law Firm focused on civil claims. Ignacio then worked at a leading law firm in Washington, DC before shifting to Dimensional Fund Advisors in the position of Institutional Services Analyst. Before joining PlaceMKR, Ignacio worked with U.S. Bank’s Commercial Real Estate team in Dallas where he underwrote construction loans, term loans, and subscription facilities.
The banking and investment analyst pro has been a world-traveler from an early age and lived in four countries across three continents prior to completing his degree at the University of Texas in Austin.
