Kristina Corona is making a name for herself in the music industry

Kristina Corona was raised in Los Angeles and moved around a ton, between there and the inland empire. She is hispanic so her music background has been really diverse. She grew up listening to Spanish bands like mana to r&b groups like En Vogue. The in-between was definitely funk music and disco with a little bit of rock. Kristina believes her music really represents more of the melodic r&b genre, with some mix of pop, and also rock.

It’s a sound she doesn’t believe anyone can tap into, as it is her own. Prior to her first single released earlier this year, Kristina attempted to write music with bands and duos, but she found that most people aren’t as dedicated as they initially seem. So, working alone was the best decision for Kristina. Since she had taken her career path alone, She has played in shows bridging the music spring fest at the Dallas curtain club. 

She also was entered into D’jammy awards and won Best song in the r&b category, and most recently she had a vibrant interview with neffy raps on power 214 radio. Her song was played for the Iheart radio internet show that week. Kristina has recently dropped a single named “Just let me know”, She has another track dropping next week called Karma, and after that release she has her first ever album set to drop at the end of April.

This album is called Doors Open and it is a project She is extremely proud of. She took time on what she wrote and created. This project really allowed her to open up to allow emotions to flow freely with this project.
